Here's the script:

#!/bin/bash

server1="HSA1P"
server2="HSA2P"
server3="HSA3P"
server4="HAS_LIB55"

for X in "$server1" "$server2" "$server3" "$server4"
do

sftp $X << eof

cd /$X/vol1/groupwise/logs
lcd /usr/share/logs

mget *

quit

eof

done

The error is occuring on the line right after my "done" statement.  I'm
using SLES 9 and vi to create the file.

Any ideas?

sftp $X << eof

or just remove the space here

sftp $X <<eof
