posting videos from a purchased DVD

What are the legal issues with posting vidoes from a DVD I bought.
Specifically
videos of sporting events that were taken by an on sight company and
sold to
me. Does the DVD have to have Copyright info on it or is it implied? If
I'm just
posting but not selling is it OK?
