Sorry, I was just replying to that one statement which I though was
false :-).

You'll have to wait a bit for the page rank to transfer. I would guess
that it might take a few months for everything to transfer to the
single domain, and since toolbar-page-rank is only updated 3-4x/year
(next due in January, but nobody outside of Google really knows),
you'll need to wait for the pagerank update as well. Looking at the
dates of these posts here, I would guess that a good part of it should
be transfered in January, the rest in the next round. Sometimes you
need to be patient, even if everything else in the tech-world moves so
fast :-).

The same is true for your indexing at Google. It will take a bit to
transfer all URLs, but with these settings, the rest will come by
itself. (again, provided you have enough inbound links, which you
probably do)
