Re: drawing line on top of goodle map?????

Many thanks Mike and Andrew,

This website is very good, but yes! it is so cryptic. and also i can not draw many polylines as I want, just permit one only.

BTW, thanks for your suggestion. I have found another website, this guy does it very well, but also transfer to SVG, but it is understandable, easy to use. Just have a look if you like to.

cheers,

http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/ allows you to draw polylines on a Google
map. Once you've completed your path you can create a Permalink or a
TinyURL which can be emailed between participants to cause that site to
redisplay the path.

The Permalink parameters are rather cryptic, so you might not be able to
decipher them for your own purposes, but that site has a pointer to a
bookmarklet that can be used to convert polylines into GPX files. So
your participants could email your TinyURLs, and you could use those to
get the site to redisplay the polyline, and then you could grab it with
the bookmarklet.

Alternatively, you could write your own page which captures data in a
similar manner and then puts the coordinates of the resulting polyline
into your database.
