Looking at one of my own feeds, I have an average of 1390 bytes per item
(mostly in the description obviously). So it would take 7543 of my
items. And Froogle allows much larger descriptions than that.

If the OP claims to have a 100MB feed, who are we to doubt him? You'll
remember there was a second hand book seller on here not so long ago who
said he was uploading a very large feed (also way too large for the
merchant centre).
