Just like any other database-enabled page- get the data from the
database, then loop through it in JavaScript to add the points to your
map. The actual specifics of the implementation depend on:
- your application (ASP, Perl, Cold Fusion, etc.)
- your database (mySQL, MS SQL, etc.)
- what it is you're displaying (business addresses, points of interest,
hiking routes, etc.)

If you read the existing posts, you can probably find someone (or many)
who have been/are working on something similar.
