The starter of this thread obviously opted for tip#1, since the first
message was deleted.

As for the spam, click on "show options", "report abuse", and file the
spam report. Google deletes spam pretty fast in this group.

With regard to repetitive questions, hopefully the Google Sitemaps
Knowledge Base we'll launch in January will help.
