What do you mean? The Google sitemap can be either
an XML file
with URL finishing in .xml or .xml.gz (for a compressed sitemap)
or a text file with URL finishing in .txt
Only your verification file has to end in .html
It is OK for URLs listed in your sitemap to end in .htm
You do not have to have any links in other pages to
your sitemap or verification URLs.
