Re: Sitemap Crawled, Still Not Indexed

Well, from my understanding, your pages getting indexed and page rank
are quasi hand in hand. I would think that if the Sitemap has nothing
to do with page rankings, it would have no effect if your pages get
indexed or not.

If you are showing absolutly no results in google, its more than likely
the googlebot not finding the site on the internet (ie. no backlinks).

googlebot uses the sitemap when it crawls. However, when your sitemap
is being parsed, it is not in fact telling the googlebot anything or
have any type of relation back towards it. Please correct me if I am
