Your sitemap will have no direct effect on your pages getting indexed
or your page ranking. Personally, I do not belive that submitting your
site to other search engines will accomplish what you desire. However,
when visiting the desired search engine, follow their information links
and I am sure that you will pull something up which tells how to submit
your site.
