No, it hasn't. I've tried changing the URLset, letting the plugin
create the sitemap files (I'm using WordPress blog), creating the files
myself, and sacrificing chickens--but no change.

Because I've got another site that I set up with no problem using the
same software and plugin, I suspect that there may be an issue on
Google's side...
