Re: Someone has hijacked my store
Tim,
Including a link to a specific product on Froogle, or a search string
that brings it up, would be quite helpful in understanding what you're
seeing!
It sounds as if someone has set up a site that simply redirects
requests to yours, and has uploaded a Froogle feed for it. Although
it's possible they've "hijacked" your feed, it's more likely that
they've uploaded a completely separate, competing feed.
Why would they do this? Well, for example, some stores give a referral
bonus to sites that send customers to them, so this might be a way of
getting referral bonuses froim you. However, it seems unlikely to me
because you don't recognize "willyfog.com".
It's not even clear to me from your posting whether you are currently
uploading a feed to Froogle -- are you? If so, what happens when you
log in to the Merchant Center and click "View on Froogle"?
And can you give us a specific example (URL) showing the problem?
