that it thinks are important and valuable?

Google only lists those links that it counts (based on it's magical
algorithm).

This is emphatically not the case. The links listed are a random sample
and have no bearing on their quality or relevance. From cheap porn to
backlinks from Microsoft, the ones listed in Google are just a sample -
apparently there for "comedy" effect. MSN and Yahoo will give a more
accurate view but, in my experience, they are both pretty sloppy at
crawling. My advice is forget about it, you'll never get an accurate
list from Google.
