I give up :-) -- if you take the time to write that much but can't be
bothered to look past your own nose, I don't know what more I should
do.

One tip just to give you a bit of an incentive to look: Sitemaps,
Adwords, getting indexed and ranking for keywords are all unrelated
(other than the obvious need to be indexed before being able to rank).
You have to fix the last two outside of adwords and sitemaps.
