I know how the PR is diluted and 301 redirect should be done via
htaccess file.
I think the blog from the google emploee is saying that now Google will
be able to do it automatically in future if there was one sitemap in
root directory. There fore I had added the site.. but I am curious if
they need another verification file.. or the existing verification will
do the job.. I have kept my old verification file, it has not yet
verified.. verification status is 'pending'
