Scrolling

Hi,

One feature I would like is the ability to disable the "animation" and
in particular the scrolling effect.

On my machine at least (Ubuntu+firefox 1.0.8), the animation is jerky
and looks unpleasant. It also makes the browser feel unresponsive.

Even ignoring the issues with smooth animation I prefer the quicker
responsiveness that comes with having animation turned off.
