[Gmail-Users] Downloading gmail to Outlook and/or Eudora on Toshiba Tecra

I have been successfully downloading my gmail account email to both
Outlook and Eudora on my old laptop. I just got a new Toshiba Tecra
and now I can't download even though I have the same settings as on my
old computer and the same operating system (WindowsXP professional).
The error message i get is "Outlook can not connect to your email POP3
server" or "Connection refused." Can anyone give me any advice or
suggestions? Thanks.
