Since you're wanting to make your defaults browser specific, never mind about the PC's settings in control panel.  Just make the Gmail homepage your default homepage when you open Firefox and make the Yahoo Mail homepage your default homepage for IE.  Then, when you open whichever browser, log into the corresponding account for the login page that gets displayed.

 

I have an ISP account linked to my Microsoft Outlook but I never use it and have more or less forgotten about it.  Just remove the shortcuts for Outlook and/or Outlook Express from your desktop and taskbar.

default email for google. should be gmail......useing firefox.....and
