[Google-Desktop] Re: GoogleDesktopIndex.exe pegging CPU at 100% --anyone solved this yet?

No. I'm not running DiskView. Standards XPHome Service Pack 2. Do have
178 programs loaded on my drive, but DiskView is not one of them.

Thing is, the January '05 beta version of GDS worked beautifully for
me. Never a problem. Wasn't 'til I upgraded to the late September and
then October versions that GDS started pegging my CPU. I can watch it
in TaskManager. Often hogging 96%--won't let me do anything else. Slows
my computer to a crawl or standstill. Very frustrating!

And Google Support's suggestion is to uninstall and reinstall. Which
I've done several times, with no positive results.
