Image Quality

So far what I have seen is not justification for spending any money on
the presented videos. Deep Space 9 is one example. I have both original
and downloaded versions of many of the episodes, and none are anywhere
near as bad as the samples shown on Google Video. Maybe the real
versions have acceptable quality - but I doubt that I'll bother to find
out.

Google also has backed itself into somewhat of a corner with the
requirement to use 2K or XP OS's only. It's a Google choice, but it's
also a bit near sighted. Next, users will have to use IE, I suppose.

Anyhow, Google Video is an idea whose time will get here whenever
Google learns how to go platform independent. Until then, Google Video
is no more than an interesting curiosity.

So cancel my 'membership'. I'm outta here!!!!!!!!!!!
