Javascript object error help!

Hi, I'm just trying to add a working map script into a template design
and not being great at javascript, was wondering whether someone could
point me to the simple mistake in this code (only within IE).

I find the errors within javascript and IE really unenlightening. And
have no idea how to figure what's up during run time.
