hi all,

i am developing a script of the following nature.

all the commands typed at the command prompt are sent to the terminal driver and then taken for execution. Let that be a valid command or mere control character.

I need to capture all the commands (literally characters) sent to the terminal driver.
How to snoop the terminal driver for such activity?

In case of valid commands i can have a redirect from .history !!!
but there are two backlogs
i cannot have control over the control characters typed
characters which are sent to the program rather than the driver ( i cannot trace them)

any pointers on this!
your help would be greatly appreciated,
thanks,
Mad.

Here's an idea, why don't you just install a keylogger?
