if you use custom icons then when you convert to APIv2 be careful of doing a global  search and replace from GPoint to GLatLng. You need to continue using GPoint in your icon definitions. e.g.

  icon.iconAnchor = new GPoint(6, 20);
  icon.infoWindowAnchor = new GPoint(5, 1);
