Re: Everything's in order; so why no stats?

This seems to be such a common "error" [read:complaint], I found
numerous posts when searching for "crawl stats" using the sitemap
groups search window {hint?}.

Since this was one where I actually saw a "Google Employee" respond I
thought it best to post here rather than start (yet another) thread.

I've had a site crawled, verified, listed at #1 in the keyword
"jaculis" with meta-info, then "disappeared" from the listings, then
reappeared only as the domain name without and meta information... it's
been quite a ride...

The one thing I am trying to understand but so far haven't found a
rational answer is why there are no crawl or other data on the site.
Clearly the Googlebot has visited like Santa Claus and taken the milk &
cookies, but similarly left no footprints.

Anyone have a clue? Clearly the bot's been by... [bbb?] ;)

The site is 3 months old, and sitemaps have been in use for over a
month now.
