Tteresa, those articles are syndicated, that's duplicate content and
will be suppressed. If you've too much duplicate/near duplicate content
on your site, Google and other engines may supress all pages from your
domain on their SERPs.
I know every bit any cralwer requests from my sites. Info is from the
Google stats, my server logs, and custom tracking software.
The linked article should give you an idea when your pages (at least
those with unique, original textual content) could start to rank at
Google, and what you can do to boost your rankings. Hosting syndicated
content which is available from tons of other sites is clearly not on
that list.
