I can almost guarantee that you are using AdBlock, and it is blocking
the Flash element displaying the video. I was experiencing the same
problem (audio, but no video), and after poking around for a few
minutes, I disabled AdBlock before I went through the tedious task of
reinstalling Java, Flash, Firefox, etc. Indeed AdBlock was the culprit.

To test this, just disable AdBlock and see if it works. If so, you can
ad an exception for Google, so that you are still blocking ads on other
domains.
