Yahoo is not perfect. However, Yahoo generates up to five times (5X)
the number of visitors (referrals) to www.rwallick.com that Google does
and we are not paying Yahoo to be listed in their directory.

Believe it or not, MSN generates up to ten times (10X) the number of
visitors (referrals) to our web site that Google does. Like Microsoft
or not, they know computers, they know web languages (Java, HTML, ASP,
etc.) and Microsoft knows how to correctly scan and index web sites.
MSN has correctly located all our web pages. Google has only located
76% of our available web pages (and again most of those located by
Google are eleven months out-of-date).

Some historical perspective: By the way, www.rwallick.com has been on
the web for over four years now. Thinking back, we believe it
originally took Google several months (at least three) to locate our
web site in the first place and that "discovery" occurred only after
submitting a link directly. (Some things never change, eh!) The
Inktomi robot (now Yahoo) first located us, so kudos to Yahoo for that.
Today, MSN gets kudos for correctly finding and indexing ALL our web
pages.

Unless Google revamps and updates its scan-index-store-'make web page
links available' algorithm(s) in short order, and that includes
Google's lengthy horizontal plus initial recognition timelines, Yahoo
and MSN will continue gaining over Google. Imagine an
auto-manufacturer taking four to six times longer to make a car as a
competitor! The faster, more versatile companies would (and will) put
the slower company out of business! Also, if an auto manufacturer
takes longer to introduce new models (analogy: find new web sites) then
that manufacturer is further disadvantaged.

Again, we have to look at 1) who is bringing more customers onto our
web site, 2) who is scanning our site more frequently (is
update-friendly) and 3) who is indexing (and making links available to)
ALL our web pages.
