Yes!

It works in http://northwestallentrails.org/map.shtml which is
adapted from.Mike Williams' tutorial.

Feel free to copy that and modify it. You can even put your points in
without changing the page, as I have them all defined in
http://northwestallentrails.org/R2T.xml

I believe there is a major bug in the script in that the part that
handles
clicking on the links assumes only one list, while the part that
creates
the links uses left and right lists. Yet somehow it seems to work
on all my browsers at home. It does not work on Internet Explorer

it renders the WHOLE page, then it pops up a box saying it was unable
to load the page!

I know how to fix the bug, so by tomorrow, I'll know whether that is
what blows up IE6
