Re: "Merchants" that are not merchants linking to ebay auctions
>But complaining about it here will not do you any good: there is no evidence that anyone from froogle reads this group.
That's true -- but I figure that sooner or later someone else who is
both a Froogle Merchant and an Ebayer might read this post, do some
sleuthing and discover that they're in the same boat I'm in -- and the
more people we have bringing this to froogle's attention, the better.
The first time I posted, I didn't have the whole picture -- I thought
it was my froogle feed that had been hijacked. It took me a while to
realize it was an old ebay auction that was showing up in the bogus
Merchant's listing. So I figured I would post again, with a more
accurate subject line, so as to grab the attention of anyone who didn't
bother reading the first post because they thought it didn't apply to
them.
I still haven't received a reply from froogle, though it's been four
days since I sent my inquiry, and their auto-generated response said
2-3 business days. I guess it's true what they say: "You get what you
pay for". I'll definitely let the list know if I hear anything back
from them. I notified ebay about the problem, and received a typically
inane response.
I wonder if these bogus "Merchants" bloated feeds are partially
responsible for the obvious problem REAL merchants have been
experiencing recently uploading their feeds.
