I don't have FF 1.5, so I can't see your first problem. (It's fine in FF
1.0.6)

I think your second problem is that you can't click on icons that are
under the GLargeMapControl(). That's true in any browser and for any
map.

The GLargeMapControl() is wider than it looks where it crosses the Rose
& Crown. It has to be wide enough to contain the East and West pan
buttons. It's that wide all the way down, but just transparent.

Because your map is so small, GLargeMapControl() covers a lot of your
markers. Consider using GSmallMapControl()
