Roads in Brazil

I need to show brazilian roads in my application. Since they are not
present in the "Map" type, the only way to do it would be to draw the
corresponding polylines. And I know that Google Earth shows most of the
roads in Brazil. So I wondered wether Google provides a way to access
those road maps via the Google Maps API. Does anyone know?
