[Gmail-Users] e-mailing multiple contacts

I just opened up an account with g-mail and imported contacts from my
hotmail account, but am unable to send e-mails to these contacts,
uipdating them of my new g-mail account.

I clicked contacts then checked the box for each contact, but when I
went to send the e-mail, the To: box was blank.

How do I fix this problem?
