[Gmail-Users] Ongoing problem with Gmail

For the past two days, I have been unable to access either of my gmail
accounts.

The page will come up and remain white with the word Loading... in the
top left corner. At the bottom of the window, the word 'done' appears.
I was able to access gmail from a friend of mine's laptop earlier
today, so I don't think it's my account; it's probably my computer.
This has happened when I signed out of one account (successfully).
When I tried to sign onto another one, I got the white, blank page.

I have tried a system restore and a complete restart of my computer.

I have emailed google support and got a reply that my message was
received but may not be answered, due to the volume of emails.

I am not very computer literate, so any simple explanations or
suggestions would be appreciated. :)
