The problems with the api key line is a quick fix - replace all '&'
characters with '&' character entities.

Since this is XHTML instead of HTML, the case of element and attribute
names does matter, for instance, HEAD must be head.

Also <br> -> <br/>

That will cut away a lot of the validator complaints in short order.
