AdWords API Support for accessing the API via proxy servers

I'm using the Java AdWords API client library and am expecting to have
to run my API clients on machines that connect to the Internet via
proxy servers.

Does anyone know if the Java client library supports such access? I saw
an AdWords API forum posting

that indicates VB.Net has such support via the Proxy property of
CampaignServiceService but I haven't managed to find anything
equivalent in the Java client library...
