It's just Google. As you might know, Usenet is hosted by many news
servers, so if one news server is down, you can read the same messages
from other news servers. Before I report here when archiving has
stopped, I usually look at my ISP's news server and also my favorite
news server news.individual.net (which was free previously). And, if I
feel like it, I might also check newsgroups with a free news server
like allnews.readfreenews.net or pubnews.gradwell.net.
