Re: Unsupported file format being report, tried many generators and text as well?

Slight update... even though I removed the lines for the base url it
still gave me a Unsupported file format ( so shoot down that theory).
But now I have crawl stats showing that didn't show before ????
Both files were in the root of the domain name.. as you see the links
above.

I moved the two sitemap files mentioned above to this dir:
http://www.opeonthenet.com/gm/

I tweaked and submitted yet another map.
http://www.opeonthenet.com/sitemapA.xml
put this one back in...
- <url>
<loc>http://www.opeonthenet.com/</loc>
<lastmod>2005-12-26T11:37:58+00:00</lastmod>
</url>

And kept this one out (which I had removed the above entry lines and
this entry from the sitemap.xml above) :
- <url>
<loc>http://www.opeonthenet.com</loc>
<lastmod>2005-12-26T11:37:58+00:00</lastmod>
</url>

John,
have you had a chance to look at either of the files?
Any advice?
