"\" is supported by windows and "/" is supported by every OS including windows...

firefox for some reason doesnt render images with a "\" and just replaces them by alt text!!

I added one of those add to google buttons to a page and firefox refuses to dl the image.  it just displays the alt text.  if i right click on the alt text and say "view image" the image loads.

yes, in options i have no blocked domains and it can show images from other domains.
