"Boo trolls", yes, but you are stooping down to a certain level when
you seem to substitute every 's' with a '$' if it's a Microsoft
product.

We can't start comparing each company's webmail offering just yet,
because they're not in the same class. Gmail is beta, features get
added to it all the time. Even as that, it has some unique features
that people really appreciate. For some, what it offers is enough to
make it their main webmail.

Yahoo on the other hand has been around for years and is more mature.
It lacks some features or requires payment for them, whereas Gmail
doesn't have a paid plan (yet?). Not to mention that Yahoo is working
on its own "dynamic app" environment, which is right now under private
beta (no, no invitations).

In any case, the companies behind them have different business plans
and different mentalities. Any comparisons between them are bound to
lack objectivity.
