[Gmail-Users] Re: i want a gmail calendar like this one
good to see this thread! ok...seems like someone has already seen
the inside scoop!
The number one feature I want in an email-calendar integration is an
email tickler. Two scenarios:
1) Not Now -- A conversation arrives in your inbox that is not part of
your current priorities so you want to forward it to next monday to be
dealt with next week
2) Future Followup -- You send a reply to a colleague that you have
time to pick up this conversation at the end of the month and Gmail
gives you the ability to pick a date to schedule forward for followup
as you send the email. When that date arrives, viola, the
conversation is back in your inbox!
Much of this is inspired by David Allen's Getting Things Done and
NetCentric's GTD Outlook Add-in.
I've convinced after almost 4 months of full-time Google Mail - you
don't need Outlook to make this happen! :)
Come on GSanta!
