Yeah I second that, the only possibly useful screensaver I can see google making would be one using their google earth technology

I guess I don't understand why a screensaver with news or your inbox
would be useful.  Certainly I don't want my e-mail displayed on the
screen when I'm not there.  Furthermore if I want to read the news, I'd
go to news.google.com, not wait for my screensaver to turn on.  A
google earth type screensaver might be neat.  I don't foresee Google
getting into the screensaver business.
