[Google-Desktop-Developer] Personalized News

Hi all!

I am vey interested in the "personalized news" feature within the
sidebar. Does anyone know how this adoptable feature works? Google
says, that Desktop is watching you while surfing and reading articles
pushed by Google Desktop. Does anyone know a source where to find
detailled information on this? I believe it works like a content-based
or collaborative recommender, but I can't find anything on the hidden
technology and algorithms?!? Thanks a lot!
