Integration with GMail

I for one would love to see the Google Reader as a "Tab" within the
GMail interface. I don't really care, or desire, to see any tight
integration between the two applications, but would love to see just a
simple way to quickly switch between my GMail and the Google Reader.

Yes, I can easily do this with FireFox by having two tabbed windows,
but I would love to see GMail as actually providing this access from
right within the email page.
