Where did you get this information about .net soon to be gone? We use .net
everyday for rapid development of database applications and tools. It won't
be .GONE in our work environment anytime soon and I'm willing to bet many
others who use .net completely agree. It's a very useful tool, don't let
your anti-microsoft sentiments cloud your judgment or prompt you to make
false statements.
