I used RH for a few years (it was either 4 or 6... maybe five...) and
tried FC4. I tried Gentoo but never got past the install (I'm not
*that* motivated yet). I found Debian, and though it took me a while
to get used to how to correctly configure it, I'm pretty dadgum happy
with it ATM. I got Kubuntu because my laptop needs to updated
drivers, and while I probably could have used a Debian Unstable
instead of Kubuntu, I picked Kubuntu since my laptop is a desktop
useage only (no webserving from here

Yeah, I haven't tried *that* many distros, but I try not to bash the
ones I haven't actually installed and rejected for some reason or
another. I've heard some very bad things about SuSE, but even worse
things about FC.
