Yes you can. However the only hitch I have found when I ran a live CD
of Kubuntu, was I had to specify the default gateway (usually your
DSL/Cable modem) in the network configuration. Ubuntu has a GUI for the
configuring of that, so just plug in the information. If it still
doesn't work, let us know.
