Query and security token

Im having a problem with the query url. The documentation says
that i should use something like this :

http://127.0.0.1:4664/search&s=1ftR7c_hVZKYvuYS-RWnFHk91Z0?q=Google&f...

but when i paste this url in the browser,i get this :

"You requested a page that does not exist.
You may have reached this page by clicking on an invalid link or
bookmark. "

I ended up going into my registry and
extracting the key unique to my pc and then it worked. Seems like
according to documentation we shouldnt need a unique reg key entry or a
token specific to that pc??.

Any suggestions on getting it to work with a generic string like in
documentation or worse case an easy token extract?
