I can't specify particularly what could have happened.

I can only throw some comment after looking at your sitemap.xml.
Your all date are 2005-12-30, which is not realistic.You should specify
date on actual basis, So that googlebot can pick changed pages on every
visit.

Try to have logical use of sitemap. Better use of resources is one of
the main objectives of sitemap program, so telling googlebot more
details about your priority pages and change frequency is good idea
and also have index of all the pages not just few ones.

How you change date ?
