badly formatted rss subscription leads to error when unsubscribing

I've been reading philrenaud.com via rss feed and the google reader.
The author has recently made some changes in his blog and since the
articles don't get marked as read in google reader. I decided to
unsubscribe from that feed, but I get an "oops, error, try later"
alarm. Trying to find out what happens, i see thet the subscription URL
is incorrectly formatted. it is http:philrenaud.com/rss.php when the
correct entry should read http://philrenaud.com/rss.php

As a matter of fact, if i chooose to subscribe to the correct url i get
duplicate articles, but the ones coming from the correct URL do get
marked as read and I can unsubscribe from it without problem.

It's getting a little annoying, having a growing list of "unread"
articles wich are old and already read. What should i do? the owner of
the philrenaud.com site should be contacted or can it be fixed from
within google reader?
