u use the command called
#system-config-samba as root I am assuming u are having Fedora as the
OS
if u have Red Hat then use
#redhat-config-samba
and if u want to browse home directories also
then go to
/etc/samba/smb.conf
there u will find a section where it is written home directory
browsable=no
there you have to make it yes
